Hot cross buns

Easter has really started – we’ve been eating mini eggs, Eccles cake, and I made my hot cross buns. I always make them wholemeal which I think is really tasty and they are still fluffy. This year for the first time I piped the crosses on which was quicker, easier, and more professional so I won’t go back to draping pastry over them. Also approved by the tasters!
