I really enjoyed painting the jug and bluebells this week and thought they’d be a great subject for a card. This is my first attempt.
I’ve tried to suggest the delicate pattern on this jug.
Good to practice sketching tonight. (Might colour it in soon).
Had a less rushed go at bluebells from the camera. Enjoyed experimenting with technique and getting the impression of light. Definitely a subject that I can keep coming back to
On the final day of my 3 day cycle event, I saw a dog having a great time in a bike trailer! He wasn’t part of our event but looked like owner and dog were both enjoying it!
117miles cycling around Somerset and Dorset today. I’ve never seen so many bluebells before – they are looking absolutely incredible and smell lovely as you go past. So this is an impression of them as seen from the bike.

I managed to sketch this lady without her realising. I’m going to add paint colour later to liven it up.
I thought these lampshades were very attractive and so did a sketch. I enjoyed drawing in pencil, although did smudge it a bit.
