Quick sketch of some ivy in Kate and Tom’s garden.
I made this as our first course involved hollowing out 4 lemons, and this needed the juice of 4 and the zest of 2. The fact one person had fourth helpings showed it was very tasty!
Made and painted white bean and chorizo soup. Cook onion, add tin of tomatoes and white beans, chopped chorizo. Add red wine and simmer. Delicious!
Managed a quick sketch of this lovely plane tree in Kensington Gardens before going into the Albert Hall for a prom!
Drawing from this fun tablecloth we ate on tonight at Kate and Tom’s.
Quick sketch, but it would make a good subject to come back to.
I wanted to capture this before the petals drop off.
I’ve drawn out our new garden so we know what’s where. Lots of Latin names to learn – glad I kept the labels!
Putting the design ideas into action – choosing and planting the best combination. Think it looks great!
I was on starter and pudding- rosemary & gruyere cheese straws, then summer berry polenta cake.
