Christmas cooking

We were hosting lunch today and I made: spelt bread (for breakfast), rosemary and Gruyère cheese straws, buckwheat blini with crème fraîche and smoked salmon, mince pies and stripy brandy butter (the latter based on a family tradition, in slightly different form, but luckily still accepted!)

20131224-192801.jpgTook the whole morning, but worth it as it was fun to do and delicious to eat, along with Max’s glazed ham, sweet potato, roast tomato, creamed brussels and pancetta! A Christmas banquet!
